This deluxe salad kit container comes with a deep bowl on the bottom to put your lettuce and other greens. Consider adding romaine, kale, spinach, butter lettuce, or other greens you like. When constructing your salad to be saved for later, you leave the greens in the bowl away from all other ingredients so they don’t get wilted, soggy, or weighed down. It then comes with a tray that includes three compartments and can be placed in the refrigerator or freezer. This snaps to the top of the bowl. This is ideal for toppings to your salad, such as vegetables, chicken, or cheese. You also get a dressing container with a lid so you keep your salad dressing there. There is a locking lid on the top of the container so it all stays safe with no leaks until you are ready to use it.
All materials used in the Stay Fit Deluxe Salad Kit are made of plastic, but are also BPA-free for your safety and wellness. In addition to these containers, there is a location in the container that lets you place an ice pack. When you are headed to work or on a picnic, you can bring the ice pack with you so that everything stays cold even if it is not stored in the refrigerator. When lunch or dinner arrives, take the different containers and trays off the bowl then put your salad together. It couldn’t be easier!
One issue you might have is getting the lid to stay on and the containers to remain in place. It might take a few tries before everything locks properly. This is really the only disadvantage we found with this product.
